Rotary Club of Peoria-North

About the Rotary Club of Peoria-North

The Rotary Club of Peoria-North was chartered by Rotary International on September 19, 1968 with 43 members. Currently the Club includes more than 170 members that proudly carry on the tradition of "Our Spirit of Giving: Having Fun While Helping Others."

With a focus on literacy, education and hands-on community projects, members have a wide variety of opportunities to get involved with the local community. Additionally, the Club strives equally hard to serve the international community through efforts like; funding for clean water wells, participation in international exchange programs and continued support of Rotary International’s Polio eradication programs.

The Club meets for lunch every Thursday, 11:45 am at Barrack’s Cater Inn (located at 1224 W. Pioneer Parkway, Peoria, IL 61615).  With a goal of making every Thursday a “must attend meeting”, our programming committee works hard to feature not only pertinent and timely programs on a diverse number of subjects including speakers from the business, community, education and government sectors; but also programs “outside the box” which are fun and interactive. Weekly meetings also provide networking opportunities, camaraderie and fellowship with other leaders in your profession and in our community.
